Fredericton is the capital city of the Province of New Brunswick which is located in Eastern Canada or more familiarly known as the Maritime Provinces. With a population of approximately 50,000 people, Fredericton boasts many events and attractions that are normally only found in larger city centers.

 


Each year the city hosts the popular Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival which attracts world renowned artists and music fans from all over North America.

 

Fredericton is a very clean city with friendly people and a rich culture featuring: The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, The York Sunbury Museum, The Playhouse, and the newly added Fredericton Convention Center.

 

Fredericton has 2 Universities and numerous colleges and schools. The 2 historic Universities, The University of New Brunswick & Saint Thomas University sit quaintly on the on the hillside of downtown Fredericton, overlooking the beautiful picturesque view of the Saint John River.

The city of Fredericton is a great tourist destination for the family with many different events and attractions for every season. There are many beautiful hotels and bed & breakfasts located centrally within the historic city or in the outlying rural areas of Fredericton that are dotted with breathtaking scenic passages through the famous Saint John river valley.
