The Hold Steady

(Fredericton, NB) – Brooklyn, by way of Minneapolis, indie rock band The Hold Steady will perform in support of their recently released fifth album Heaven is Whenever (Vagrant Records) at The Market in Fredericton on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m.

Following up to 2008’s critically acclaimed Stay Positive, which gave the band its highest Billboard chart position to date, Heaven is Whenever was recorded over several small sessions spread out over a long period of time at Dreamland Recording Studios in Upstate, NY and Wild Arctic Studios in Queens, NY with returning producer Dean Baltulonis. The 10 new songs had the benefit of being road tested during the band’s relentless tour schedule since Stay Positive’s release.
