Annual Multicultural Festival
Date: March 18th, 2010
Details: In celebration of the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the Multicultural Association of Fredericton Inc will host its Annual Multicultural Festival on March 18th, 10am-4pm, at the Boyce Farmers Market.
The Multicultural Festival will feature
- 21 cultural music and dance performances
- Fashion shows of traditional clothing from diverse countries
- 26 booths showcasing cultural displays and international food for purchase
- Anti-racism art by middle and high school children
Free admission.

Sing a new song

If so, join UNB’s Campus Ministry Friday, March 19, 2010 at 7pm at UNB’s Memorial Hall Auditorium for an evening of song, contemplation, and encouragement. Ham Supper

Location: Forest Hill United Church on Kimble Court
Details: There will be a Ham Supper on Saturday, the 20th of March, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Forest Hill United Church on Kimble Court, off Forest Hill Road. Tickets will be available at the door. Prices are $10.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 13. Celiac Meals and Take-outs will also be available. A Bake Sale will run concurrently. Everyone is most welcome.
Sugarbush Weekend at King’s Landing

Details: An annual favourite at Kings Landing, Sugarbush weekend offers sweet treats and a fun-filled outing for the whole family! The village welcomes Spring with 19th century demonstrations of collecting and boiling down sap to make tasty maple products including candy-on-the-snow! An all day breakfast of pancakes, maple syrup and much more will be offered throughout the event. Due to its popularity, Sugarbush will be offered on 2 weekends this year (March 20, 21,27, 28)!
Charter Members Celebration Service

Details: Gentle Shepherd Community Church, 870 Grandame St. invites you to join them for their Charter Members Celebration on Sunday, March 21st. at 10:30 am. Special music will be provided under the direction of Verna Hayward with children’s time under the direction of Nicolle Fleck and the message will be delivered by Rev. Dr. Brad Little. Refreshments and a time of fellowship will be available after the service.

11th Annual Fredericton Wine & Food Festival
Date: April 17th, 2010

Details: Celebrating its 11th year, the Wine and Food Fest is organized by the Canadian Diabetes Association, New Brunswick Division to provide funding for summer camp programs for children with Type 1 diabetes. Individuals will enjoy tasting wines from Alcool NB Liquor’s current portfolio while sampling gourmet food prepared by the Delta Fredericton’s culinary experts. Delta Fredericton Hotel. Tastings: 2pm – 5pm and 7pm – 10pm. Tickets available at the Canadian Diabetes Association (61 Carleton Street).
