March Blood Donor Clinics
The following blood donor clinics are being held in Fredericton this month by the Canadian Blood Services. Why not take a few moments and roll up your sleeve? Blood … it’s in you to give. Walk ins are welcome or you can call 1-888-2-DONATE to set up an appointment.

Lincoln Community Breakfast

Location: St Francis of Assisi Hall
Details: This month’s sponsor is Hon. Greg Byrne, MLA Fredericton Lincoln. Adults $5, Children $2.50, Family $15 Takeouts $5 each Donations will go to the Lincoln Rec Council.
Irish Supper

Location: Marysville Baptist Church, 150 Cowperthwaite Street
Details: Marysville Baptist Church is holding their annual Irish Supper. Chef George will be whipping up his delicious Irish stew, served with soda bread/biscuits, and a tasty dessert. There will be other fun activities. Special guests from the Fredericton Irish Society, Marilyn & Bruce Driscoll, will take us on a pictorial tour of Ireland as well. Tickets (adults -$10, kids 5-12 – $5) are available at the church (457-1006, ask for Pastor Larry), at Leachman’s Plumbing (458-9422,ask for Bob) or call Marg at 453-3778. Profits will be split between the MB youth mission trip to New York this summer, and the kitchen fund.
Annual Multicultural Festival
Date: March 18th, 2010
Details: In celebration of the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the Multicultural Association of Fredericton Inc will host its Annual Multicultural Festival on March 18th, 10am-4pm, at the Boyce Farmers Market.
The Multicultural Festival will feature
- 21 cultural music and dance performances
- Fashion shows of traditional clothing from diverse countries
- 26 booths showcasing cultural displays and international food for purchase
- Anti-racism art by middle and high school children
Free admission.

Ham Supper
Date: Sat, March 20th, 2010

Location: Forest Hill United Church on Kimble Court
Details: There will be a Ham Supper on Saturday, the 20th of March, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Forest Hill United Church on Kimble Court, off Forest Hill Road. Tickets will be available at the door. Prices are $10.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 13. Celiac Meals and Take-outs will also be available. A Bake Sale will run concurrently. Everyone is most welcome.
Sugarbush Weekend at King’s Landing

Location: King’s Landing Historical Settlement
Details: An annual favourite at Kings Landing, Sugarbush weekend offers sweet treats and a fun-filled outing for the whole family! The village welcomes Spring with 19th century demonstrations of collecting and boiling down sap to make tasty maple products including candy-on-the-snow! An all day breakfast of pancakes, maple syrup and much more will be offered throughout the event. Due to its popularity, Sugarbush will be offered on 2 weekends this year (March 20, 21,27, 28)!

11th Annual Fredericton Wine & Food Festival

Details: Celebrating its 11th year, the Wine and Food Fest is organized by the Canadian Diabetes Association, New Brunswick Division to provide funding for summer camp programs for children with Type 1 diabetes. Individuals will enjoy tasting wines from Alcool NB Liquor’s current portfolio while sampling gourmet food prepared by the Delta Fredericton’s culinary experts. Delta Fredericton Hotel.
